Spring Sports - Flag Football & Cheerleading

Hello all,
Just thought I'd update you with the League Timeline for our Spring Sports here at NRBC.

If you are interested in Coaching/Refereeing, applications are available at the church and on the NRBC website (sports & rec page). The trainings will be held on Sat., January 30, 2010 at 10:00 am. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall before going to individual trainings.

Spring Sports League Timeline:

Football Evaluations & Cheerleading Orientation - Sat., February 6 (9:00 am to 11:00 am) or Mon., February 8 (5:30 to 6:30 pm)

First Practice - Sat., February 20

First Game - Sat., March 6

Awards Celebration - Sun., April 25

CPR/First Aid Class

NRBC is hosting a First Aid/CPR class through the American Heart Association on Sat., January 16, 2009 beginning at 9:00 am in the Fellowship Hall. We only have 20 spots available. To register, please call Lizzy McClelland at NRBC - (757) 484-3423. The certification is good for two years and is for infant/child & adult CPR.

Spring Sports Applications

Plans are underway for our 2010 Spring Sports - Flag Football & Cheerleading.

If you are interested in Coaching, our Cheerleading, Football Coach & Referee Volunteer Applications are now available. You can pick one up in the NRBC foyer, in the Sports & Rec Office door, or download from the NRBC Website.

Please mark your calendars for the MANDATORY Trainings on Sat., January 30th, beginning at 10:00 am.
