Parent Letter: 3/26/12

Upward Parents:

I can hardly believe we have reached the halfway point in our Upward season. I want to take a second to thank you for choosing Upward sports. We don’t take the opportunity to coach your child lightly and appreciate you – bringing kids to and from practice and games, providing snacks for games, and for supporting and assisting the coaches. Thank YOU.

Since we are now halfway through the season, we have several events coming up and wanted to make sure you were aware ---

First, our Chick-fil-a day, will be held on Sat., April 14. Chick-fil-a sandwiches will be available for purchase at concessions.

Second, on our last game day – Sat., April 21 – we will have some fun activities during the games (joust, free sno-cones, etc.). Please make sure your child doesn’t miss out!

Third, we always conclude our Upward season by having a big Celebration. The Awards Celebration will be held on Sun., April 22 at 4:00 p.m. in the NRBC Worship Center. Doors will open at 3:45 p.m. Our special guest is Brett Myers of “BAM Magic.” The awards celebration includes powerpoint from the season, distribution of gifts and closing team time, special guest Brett Myers & more! Don’t miss out!
